Trenton Teegarden, Director of Youth Music Ministries

I can’t say how happy I am to be a part of the music department at Bartlett United Methodist Church. I was raised in Brentwood Tennessee, just south of Nashville by my wonderful parents Bret and Beth Teegarden. I have two younger brothers Seth and Austin, an older sister Megan, and a younger sister Kelsey. I received my Bachelors in church music in 2009 from Martin Methodist College in Pulaski, TN and my masters in music ministry in 2011from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL. It is good to be back in the state of Tennessee and not just because of the warmer weather! When I am not spending time with the Crossroads youth choir and ensembles or the UMYF youth group; I enjoy keeping up with European football leagues, playing all sorts of musical instruments, staying athletic anyway I can, and spending time with my dog Sherman.

My favorite passage from the Bible is Micah 6:8
He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the
LORD require of you but  to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
