Outreach Ministry

God calls us to minister to those around us - ministry that has many forms. We are to be God's hands in the world, to share His love with those in need. He calls us to missions in our community and to the ends of the earth. We are His hands and feet.

JOIN BUMC AT JACOB’S WELL BUMC Outreach has volunteered to provide the Wednesday night soup kitchen and CPR food for Jacob’s Well beginning on May 30th. This is a huge endeavor and will require a commitment from the members of this church. Every 5th Wednesday, BUMC will serve dinner at Jacob’s Well, located inside Highland Heights UMC. We will serve about 50-60 displaced people, then continue our mission with the Compassion Party on the Road (CPR). CPR is a traveling soup kitchen from Jacob’s Well that serves another 50-60 homeless people. We will need 8-10 volunteers each time. The dates for 2012 are May 30th, August 29th, and October 31st.
